Summer Maintenance Help

This is a (40 hours a week) summer maintenance position, beginning in spring and concluding towards the end of the summer. Basic knowledge and practices of grounds/landscape maintenance and repair preferred. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Duties include operating a weed eater; planting, trimming and edging shrubbery, trees, grass, and flowers; raking leaves; brush removal; chipping and removing trash and debris.

Operates hand tools; power tools; small equipment.

Cleans drainage ditches and culverts.

Sprays and applies herbicide, pesticide and fertilizer as needed.

Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.

Light plumbing.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess and maintain a valid, current Arizona driver license.

Must be capable of performing all essential job functions.

Must be available to work 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

Must be able to operate machinery, tools, and equipment.

Must be able to perform tasks, primarily in an outdoor environment.

One (1) years’ experience in grounds maintenance is preferred.
