Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team at Papago Vans. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive painting. Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles look as stunning as they perform. This position requires a strong eye for detail, proficiency in paint blending, spot repair, and the ability to paint complex components such as flares and body kits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and paint vehicle components, including flares, body kits, and other custom parts, ensuring a high-quality finish.

- Perform spot repairs and paint blending to achieve seamless color matches.

- Inspect vehicles to identify areas requiring touch-ups or additional paint work.

- Mix paint and other materials to ensure the best color match and finish.

- Apply paint coatings to vehicles using spray guns, ensuring even coverage and adherence to quality standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of van conversion projects.

- Keep up to date with the latest painting techniques, materials, and equipment.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience as an automotive painter, preferably in a custom shop environment.

- Proficiency in paint blending, spot repair, and painting custom components like flares and body kits.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes.

- Knowledge of different types of paint, primers, and clear coats.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
