HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

POSITION SUMMARY

We're seeking a skilled residential plumber to join our team! As a residential plumber, you'll be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in homes. This includes diagnosing issues, providing cost estimates, and offering solutions to ensure optimal performance. This includes everything from sewer scopes to drains cleanings, as well as water softener and water heater installations. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills are essential. - Install and maintain plumbing systems in residential properties to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

- Diagnose plumbing issues accurately and provide timely and effective solutions to resolve them.

- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with homeowners and addressing their concerns promptly.

- Adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards to uphold the integrity of plumbing installations and repairs.

- Efficiently manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

- Continuously improve technical skills and stay updated on industry advancements to deliver top-quality plumbing services.

- Foster positive relationships with customers and colleagues to promote a collaborative and supportive work environment

COMPETENCIES

- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of installing, repairing, and maintaining residential plumbing systems.

- Experience with sewers, drains, water heaters, leak diagnostic and repair

- Problem-Solving: Ability to swiftly diagnose and resolve plumbing issues with precision.

- Attention to Detail: Diligence in ensuring every plumbing task meets high-quality standards.

- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle various plumbing challenges effectively.

- Compliance: Adherence to safety regulations and industry standards in all plumbing activities.

- Efficiency: Capacity to complete plumbing tasks promptly without compromising quality.

- Communication: Clear and concise interaction with clients and team members regarding plumbing issues and solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

● High School Diploma or GED

● Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential plumbing services

● Must possess valid state driver’s license and clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

● Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking

● Must be able to lift at least 50lbs

● Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing

● Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and

distracting

● Requires the ability to raise, manipulate and maneuver tools, components and

materials and handle a variety of items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.

● Work in high or elevated places and/or in tight spaces
