CNC Router Operator

Signs of the Times Inc. here in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a qualified CNC Router Operator to complement our production team.

Candidate must have demonstrated experience in all aspects of CNC Routing. The environment for this position is a shop environment. Candidate must be able to work independently and take action as required by the duties and responsibilities given to them.

Under general direction from the General Manager, this is a production position requiring hands on knowledge and use of tools & equipment to produce finished products. The best matched candidate would have 3+ years of CNC routing experience, and be comfortable in a hands-on role working in a deadline-oriented environment.

Required Knowledge Skill Abilities

· 3+ years CNC routing experience in a sign manufacturing environment.

· Ability to work with your hands.

· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

· Ability to understand and work from shop drawings.

· Ability to perform material take-offs for procurement.

· Knowledge of routing various materials (metals, plastics, woods, foams, etc.)

Quality focused.

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Team oriented in a fast paced environment.

· Ability to take direction from team leaders.

· Ability to lead and teach others your trade.

· Dependable, self-motivated and organized.

· Ability to maintain a clean working environment.

· Ability read, understand and follow work order instructions in English.

· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with proficiency in English.

Required Duties and Responsibilities

· Read and follow shop work orders and construction drawings.

· Receive work assignments from team leaders and follow instructions to meet

deadlines.

· Assist other fabricators as needed on larger projects.

· Other duties as assigned.
