Job Description – Catering Server Wild Bunch catering is hiring on-call Catering Servers who will be responsible for preparing and serving food at scheduled functions with or without supervision of the catering manager. This position is also responsible for pulling equipment, event set up, transporting materials and food to event, setting up, serving guests, clean up the event and returning the equipment to the Catering Facility in the designated area This opening will require open availability and flexible scheduling. Prior experience as a Banquet Server is required; experience with off premise catering is preferred. Call 623.363.4227 between 7: AM & 5: PM for immediate consideration.

MAJOR DUTIES/FUNCTIONS/TASKS:

May prepare hors d’oeuvres, sandwiches, deli plates/platters, and salads.

Display excellent customer service and maintain a well-groomed and neat appearance

Represents company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner at all customer and employee interactions Set buffet tables including food, beverage, and service items according to preestablished Wild Bunch Catering standards.

Ensures that all necessary food items have identifiers or menus, displayed in a clean and consistent manner

Load and UN load equipment and food into catering vehicles in a safe and protective manner.

Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains same to customers accurately

Relays relevant comments from clients and customers directly to supervisors upon completion of event

Thoroughly cleans location after event is completed

Complete all side work duties established either written of verbally by supervisor.

Always follows safety and sanitation policy and procedures.

Keeps display equipment, buffets, and tables clean and free of debris during meal service.

Prior to heading to event, double check packing list to ensure you have food and service ware for ONLY your event

Occasionally work in other areas or departments as needed.

This is a seven-day operation, some nights and most weekend shifts may be required based on the needs of our business.

Has a valid driver’s license and clean DMV Record

Has an operating vehicle they can drive themselves to work in

Has prior catering or food service experience.

Has flexible availability

Is able to lift 25+ pounds unassisted

Is a good communicator with great people skills and a positive attitude.

Is presentable, professional, and timely.

Is honest, hardworking, and willing to work and learn.

Is consistently on time, punctual and motivated.

Can problem solve for best solution outcomes

Can work at times with minimal supervision

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

Stand, talk, hear, taste and smell.

Walk, use hands or fingers, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reach with hands and arms.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Push and pull carts weighing up to 100lbs. LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to speak, read, and follows simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
