You will be responsible for inspecting and testing products at various stages of the production process to ensure they meet the required standards. Your attention to detail and expertise in quality control will contribute to the overall success of our operations.In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of excellence. Your meticulous inspections and tests will help identify any defects or issues early on, allowing for timely corrective actions and preventing any potential quality problems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct inspections and tests on products at various stages of the production process. Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Identify and document any defects or non-conformities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results. Read blueprints and engineering specification to obtain product information. Inspect machine work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications. Must understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (Symbols and applications)U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE 2+ years of experience in quality control or inspection role (18 Months or more in a Repair and Overhaul enviornment performing maintenance on Aircraft hardware or Military service performing maintenance on Aircraft hardware) Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities. Knowledge of quality standards and specifications. Intermediate excel skills. 6+ months experience utilizing inspection techniques and hardware, familiarity with metrological techniques and applications, including but not limited to: Micrometers, Depth Mics, Verniers, Vertical and horizontal drop indicators, Height gages, O.D. & I.D. testers, O.D. & I.D. air gages, Go/no-go gages, Telescopic gages.All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan. WE VALUE High school diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of SAP Experience in a manufacturing environment. Certification in quality control or related field Good analytical and creative problem-solving skill Ability to use tools and techniques to perform. Proactively and clearly communicate important, comprehensive, and specific information that others need. Ability to read technical data and specifications.
