Arizona, Mohave county, 86429 Mohave county USABuilder is self employed and under the direction of the Plant Manager for assignments
Responsible for constructing sheds for the manufacturing plant.
Builder's duties include basic framing, nail, caulking, sheathing, siding, install doors, install windows, trim, general hardware etc., to complete the construction of sheds.
May need to operate a forklift and use ladders and scaffolding.
Must have a keen eye for detail and good multitasking and time management skills.
Must be able to work independently and be able to follow instructions.
Must be able to read plans, measurements, and detailed construction notes
Must be open to instruction and able to learn and adapt
Builders supply and maintain their own tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and Communicate
Build walls, nail, caulk, router siding, attach trim, hang doors, install windows, create lofts, cut trim and other materials
Use saws, drills, nail guns, and basic hand tools.Use forklift
Restock Materials in Bay, Keep a clean Bay,
Maintain and keep yard materials orderly including restocking if necessary.
Work with non-ideal materials is a must!
Work Site Expectations:
Daily work site is outdoors in a well-equipped open-air shop.
Must be able to tolerate a construction site including sawdust, paint fumes, and dust.
Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time, reach, crouch, stoop, kneel, and crawl
Must be able to lift no less than 70 pounds.
Must be able to climb a ladder and be comfortable up to 6 feet off the ground.
Must be able to safely operate hand tools, saws, drills, nail guns, and other construction tools
Must be physically able to pass forklift certification
Must have reliable transportation to arrive to the shop
