Welder/Fabricator

Looking for a welder/fabricator for work at a remote mining camp. Seeking well qualified certified welder for heavy equipment maintenance, proficient in stick, wire, gas, plasma and layout skills. Duties to include repairs to buckets, blades, tracks, undercarriage buildup, etc. in support of mining operation. We have approximately 6-8 weeks of full time welding/fab work starting about May 1st. We operate 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, 2 paid days off/month. Room and board are provided on site. Satellite communications and internet provided.

Job Requirements:

Safe working habits and ability to work well with others are a must.

Due to demanding physical job requirements, applicant must be physically fit and willing to work in all weather conditions

Must be reliable and consistently show a willingness to work

Must be prepared to live and work in a remote mining camp environment

Must pass pre-employment drug screening and physical exam

Required MSHA training will be provided. Prior MSHA training is preferred but not required.
