Appliance Technician

Full time 40/HRS Monday-Friday

Pay starting at $25-$28/HR DOE

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager

The Appliance Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing general maintenance trade work and repair of appliances located throughout the property.

Previous experience/skills in any related -electrical, HVAC, and plumbing is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Participate in an On‐Call emergency schedule for evening, weekend and holiday coverage, as scheduled in advance.

Inspect appliances in units to determine damages and the specific Maintenance needs.

Install new equipment, appliances, fixtures, and parts; modify existing systems.

Perform repairs on appliances, heating systems, fixtures, switches, and outlets.

Perform plumbing work, such as cleaning stoppages and replacing fittings.

Occasionally assist in custodial work.

Maintain safe, organized, clean work areas and work vehicles.

Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Alaska Driver’s License

Ability to be insured by company auto insurance.

Prior appliance experience or experience in related field required.

Background will be viewed.
