Caregiver / Assisted Living - AITL ALH (paid bonuses)

AITL ALH – Alaska Independent & Transitional Living ALH is hiring.

We are looking to hire full time/part-time care provider(s) to work in our assisted living home in Anchorage. Our home provides assistance to male individuals with intellectual disabilities ranging from ages 21 -40 years of age. Our residents are all very independent and require little direct supervision and/or oversight. Applicant must enjoy working with people, be caring and should have a positive personality.

We are open to having the right employee bring their children to work if needed (as long as they are well behaved and do not disturb clients). We offer bonuses three times yearly and may be willing to provide a flexible schedule for the right person. Pay raises will be rewarded to employees based on longevity, work performance, dependability and/or work ethic.

Our home will provide all the training necessary; however, the applicant must:

Be able to pass a state Background check

Must able to speak, read and write in English

Computer literate

Be fingerprinted

Receive a CPR/First Aid certificate

Have a negative TB test within the last year

Receive 20 hours of on-the-job training

Transportation to/from work and have a valid driver’s license.

Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation and occasional transportation for clients
