Senior AutoCad Technician

RESPEC is seeking an experienced Senior AutoCAD Technician to join our full-service engineering team in Anchorage, AK! RESPEC is 100% employee-owned and this individual will join a collaborative group of fellow owners in tackling complex project challenges.About the opportunity:The Senior AutoCAD Technician is responsible for developing engineering design drawings for civil infrastructure projects including highways, mining roads, water/sewer/storm drain utilities, and site development improvements. This position will work closely with Land Surveyors; Geotechnical, Environmental, and Civil Engineers, scientists; and project managers to ensure designs conform to applicable industry and quality standards, budgetary requirements, and internal or client CAD standards. The CAD Designer is also responsible for mentoring CAD technicians, assisting with QA/QC of CAD deliverables, and delegating work to CAD staff.Providing plan production services with teams of engineers and other techniciansCoordinating with other project discipline’s models and design teamsWorking from plan markups, sketched information, and verbal directionWorking independently and with others while working on multiple projectsDelivering quality documents using company standards and systems
