JOB SUMMARY:The Operations Support Specialist II will support the various technical and administration functions to ensure efficient and effective operations of the Anchorage office which houses multiple Brice 8(a) companies. Personal initiative and critical thinking skills are essential to complete job duties with minimal guidance. Assignments are deadline driven so must be able to set priorities, take ownership of projects, work efficiently and provide a consistent level of high quality in a high-pressure environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Have an intimate knowledge of and administer company policies

Support development of internal organization standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.

Ensure proper administration of the travel and expense policy when generating expense reports and credit card reconciliations with timely processing so that AP close deadlines are being met.

Process invoices: submit invoices to AP, check requests, EFT requests, review account statements and vendor dispute resolution.

Coordinate monthly accounting accruals

Back up for travel

coordination/reservations

Back up for weekly craft timesheet processing

Coordinate company field devices including cellphones, WIFI devices, Star Link including vendor payments and updating documentation

Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

Diverse background in office management, operations support, and project management.

Working knowledge of the environmental and construction industry.

Intermediate to expert level of experience in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint programs.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to multi-task and manage time.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be flexible, adaptable, positive.

Ability to work in an Alaska Native Corporation multi-business environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent preferred.

5-7 years experience as operations support in a project-oriented environment required

Experience in accounting required

Strong experience in MS Office Suite required

Experience in documenting processes, procedures and manuals preferred

Valid Drivers License and qualified to drive on company business.

Ability to pass a drug test and background screening.
