Driving Instructor / Drivers Ed Teacher

Drivers’ Educational School in Anchorage, Alaska is currently seeking to hire a full-time driving instructor starting immediately. The job consist of teaching new drivers how to drive a passenger vehicle, administering road tests for an Alaska drivers’ license, administering finger prints for background checks, teaching a defensive driving class, answering phones and signing up students for lessons.

The qualified candidate must at least 25 years old (DMV required), have held an Alaskan drivers’ license with a clean driving record the past 2 years, have a professional demeanor, great communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to work with a small team of fun employees in a family-like atmosphere. The candidate must pass an employer provided 40-hour training program and must pass a background check.

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday (+1 Saturday a month), 5 days a week here in Anchorage, Alaska.
