Transportation/Packaging Specialist

Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Transportation/Packaging Specialist in Huntsville, AL. Our work depends on Transportation/Packaging Specialist joining our team to as a critical part of the mission, you will be responsible for all receiving activities including signing receipt/delivery confirmations, inventorying incoming package shipments IAW the shipping document(s), and where applicable, verifying asset serial numbers, coordinating with Production Control and the Procurement team for all expected incoming deliveries, notifies Production Control of the shipment's arrival and coordinates movement of items/equipment to the appropriate storage locations.How a Transportation/Packaging Specialist will Make an Impact: Work with team members to pull parts from Inventory locations throughout various warehouses for upcoming outbound shipments. Perform Inventory of parts by counting items or verifying Part Numbers and Serial Numbers. Palletize Items for shipments with like items, may require moving items to other boxes and labeling boxes. Strap and Wrap Pallets for shipping. Loading /Unloading Various style Trucks.This is a Temporary role - no guarantee of work after 8/4/2024.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. AA/AS + 3-5 years relevant experience (6 experience in lieu of a degree)
