On-Site Staffing Coordinator

Automation Personnel Services seeks an experienced and self-motivated On-Site Staffing Coordinator for a well-respected client in Bessemer, Alabama. The ideal candidate will oversee the staffing operation in a warehouse setting and will be the primary liaison between the client, employees, and our Automation Personnel Services branch in Birmingham. We are looking for someone with experience as an on-site coordinator in a manufacturing facility, as well as some Human Resources, team building, customer service, and computer skills/experience.

Pay Rate

$19.00 to $22.00 per hour

On-Site Staffing Coordinator Duties & Responsibilities

Recruiting

Applicant screening

Interviewing

Adequately judging quality of an applicant for correct placement

Process payroll and oversee time-keeping system

Counseling employees

Listening to and applying constructive criticism

Regular interaction with Human Resources department

Communicating open positions to the supporting branch office

Checking new employees in at the beginning of each shift

Attendance, performance, and production reporting

Workers’ compensation reporting

On-Site Staffing Coordinator Qualifications & Requirements

Detail-oriented and good organizational skills

Excellent customer service skills

Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook

Staffing and/or HR experience a plus

High School diploma and some college preferred

Customer Service experience required

Flexibility with work hours required

Previous staffing onsite experience preferred, but not required.
