Wood Craftsman, Lead Sawyer

Wood Sawyer/Craftsman activities to produce Reclaimed Wood products in upbeat, supportive atmosphere.

Daily activities include but are not limited to:

- Woodworking w/ bandsaws such as Woodmizer and similar industrial bandsaws;

- Run lumber through Straight Line Rip Saws, Planers, Moulders, Radial Arm Saws & End Matchers;

- Ability to set up blades, heads, and guides and work other woodworking, power and hand tools;

- Assemble and finish Mantels, Counter/Table Tops and interior wood products;

- Drive fork lifts and tractors to move lumber and load and unload delivery trucks;

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

- 5 Years Experience working in woodworking field and strong sawyer experience

- Ability to work on your feet all day and lift at least 50 lbs

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

- Ability to communicate clearly and understand written work orders and drawings

- Positive attitude and a desire to grow with the company

- 40- 50 hr work week (plenty of overtime)

Compensation:

$16-$20/hr based on experience
