Overview:

Join our team as the Food and Beverage Field Administration Manager in Yellowstone National Park!

The Food and Beverage Field Administration Manager is responsible to help train, support, motivate and follow-up with the Food and Beverage Office Assistants in their job duties. This position works closely with the Food and Beverage Managers and their Assistants, as well as the Payroll Office ensuring Kronos timekeeping procedures are being followed.

Position Type: Full-time

Start Date: February 2022 - October 2022

Schedule: Varies – 40+ hours per week. May include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Location:The food and beverage department is based out of Mammoth Hot Springs in the park

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Food and Beverage Managers and their Assistants to ensure that Office Assistants are following proper procedures.

  • Facilitate Kronos System training in all Food and Beverage operations.

  • Update the Food and Beverage Office Assistant manual and other training materials as needed.

  • Oversee payroll reporting from each location, ensuring that hours are approved accurately and within suitable timeframes.

  • Track daily and weekly payroll costs.

  • Audit and compile weekly reported payroll from each location.

  • Spot audit all aspects of Office Assistant responsibilities. Communicate inaccuracies and other problems to the Office Assistant and Food and Beverage Manager.

  • Audit time worked for all salaried managers on location and enter appropriate time in Kronos.

  • Maintain up-to-date employee profiles on each salaried manager on location, working with Human Resources to complete changes as needed.

  • Enter needed Seasonal Core benefit time into the Kronos system, prepare benefit time sheets and send time sheets to HR Benefits Manager.

  • Prepare and distribute budgeted payroll/revenue Excel spreadsheets for each location every fiscal period.

  • Coordinate computer access and provide technical support for the F&B field management and Office Assistants

Qualifications:

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to teach and motivate line employees and managers to accomplish goals.

  • Ability to organize and follow-up with specific timelines and hold individuals accountable for their responsibilities.

  • Ability to prioritize workload.

  • Ability to effectively communicate: verbally and in written form; in person, via phone and e-mail.

  • General office skills including calculating, filing, appropriate telephone manner.

  • Ability to accurately work with numbers.

  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage Office Assistant position and payroll procedures required.

  • Knowledge of computer systems required: Kronos, Excel, Outlook.

  • Knowledge of Company structure and policies helpful.

  • Knowledge of accounting procedures helpful.

  • In-park and over-night travel required. This position requires a flexibility to do whatever it takes to support the field operations.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for variable amounts of time.

  • Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for variable amounts of time.

  • Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds.

  • Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
