Job Title: Front Desk Agent (3pm-11pm Shift)

Job Overview:

Comfort Inn and Suites is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer service-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and addressing any inquiries or concerns during their stay. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression for all visitors.

Efficiently handle the check-in and check-out process, verifying guest information and processing payments.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest records in our property management system, ensuring all data is complete and accurate.

Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions, making recommendations as needed.

Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest needs and maintain room availability.

Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

Assist in training new team members as needed, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.

Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the hotel.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or customer service experience preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of guests.

Proficiency in using property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.

A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
