Description

Stio® is looking for a full time Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team in Jackson Hole, WY.

Your Role

As the Senior Human Resources Manager (SHRM) at Stio you manage the HR functions of the company, including talent acquisition and retention, policies and practices, and employee well-being. You partner with senior leadership to set and execute on a staffing strategy to meet the current and future talent needs of the business. The SHRM manages the recruitment and hiring of key roles in partnership with hiring managers and executes on all onboarding functions. You are responsible for setting, evolving and communicating company policies and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local employment laws. As the lead responsibility holder of employee well-being, you manage the business’s suite of employee benefits and professional development programs.

The SHRM reports to Stio’s President & CMO and manages the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).

Your Skills

The SHRM at Stio is a self-starter with outstanding interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. You are an excellent written and verbal communicator with the ability to collaborate with senior leaders, managers and employees at all levels across the company. The SHRM has an entrepreneurial mindset and thrives in fast paced, high growth environments and takes on challenges with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality. You have thorough knowledge of employment related regulations and proficiency with MS Office, talent management and project management systems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Establishment and execution of hiring strategy that aligns with company goals
  • Recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding of personnel
  • Understanding and analysis of compensation and benefit best practices to attract and retain talent
  • Leadership of disciplinary actions and terminations
  • Maintenance of compliance with federal, state and local regulations for a workforce distributed across multiple states
  • Evolution of benefits programs, including health insurance, disability, 401K, gear allowance, PTO, leave and professional development

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years in human resources, business administration or related field
  • Recruitment and hiring experience preferred
  • HR certification preferred
