The Olivia Caldwell Foundation is a smaller nonprofit that is doing big things for children in Wyoming and beyond! Since we were founded in November 2013 we have given $525,000 to pediatric cancer research, opened a Pediatric Specialty Outreach Clinic in Casper with our partners at Children’s Hospital Colorado and Wyoming Medical Center, and created a Social Work Program designed to help families in Wyoming connect with the resources they need throughout their child’s medical battle.

As the Olivia Caldwell Foundation continues to grow we are adding to our team! We are currently hiring for the position of Community Relations Manager! If you are passionate about making a difference in our community, a marketing and social media whiz, enjoy connecting with community members, and have a firm grasp of event coordination, we’d love to talk to you!

The Community Relations Manager reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for marketing management, event coordination, office management, and more. Responsibilities include:

  • Optimize the marketing and promotion of signature and other fundraising events by coordinating with the CEO and development staff
  • Manages all Olivia Caldwell Foundation social media
  • Manages all Olivia Caldwell Foundation inventory and fundraising materials
  • Oversees the Olivia Caldwell Foundation Volunteer Program
  • Manages all external events, including processing fundraising agreements, providing necessary tools and resources, and stewarding relationships
  • Assists with coordination of all internal events
  • Office management duties, including coordinating meetings and calendars, monitoring office supplies and ordering supplies as needed, etc.
  • Works to secure in-kind support, sponsorships and auction items for events
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience coordinating and executing events
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Exceptional written, verbal and public speaking communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time and project management skills
  • Positive attitude, compassionate with ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Customer-service oriented
  • High energy, enthusiastic and competent working with a diverse group of staff, board members, donors, volunteers, and community partners
  • Mission focused with the desire to make a difference
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED SKILLS & EDUCATION

  • 3+ years of marketing and fundraising experience in a non-profit setting
  • Proven track record of building and sustaining donor relationships
  • Experience with social media marketing and strategy
  • Non-profit work experience

M-F with occasional weekends
