This is a full time position that is responsible for working closely with the Human Resources Supervisor to meet the company supervisors staffing needs by identifying and acquiring talented job applicants. This position also completes compensation research and analysis to support informed decision regarding compensation structure and administration. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

This position is responsible for:

  • Works closely with Human Resources Supervisor to partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
  • Collects data on cost per hire, turnover and time-to-hire. Completes timely reports on employment activity.
  • Develops and works closely with HR Supervisor to execute recruiting plans. Writes job blurbs for job openings. Researches job posting locations and reviews all options to attract the best candidates in a timely manner. Posts open positions in required locations as well as requested ad placement locations. Recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Works in iCIMS ATS (Applicant Tracking System) to post open position ads; save, forward, hire, and/or disposition candidates; and pull reports relative to the recruitment process as needed.
  • Updates company policy/procedure documents in iCIMS to ensure onboarding processes are up-to-date.
  • Keeps accurate and complete Excel logs of applications as well as EEO, disability, and veteran status in conjunction with logging and processing through iCIMS to ensure accurate and for reporting purposes.
  • Schedules interviews and makes travel arrangements as needed.
  • Participates in WebEx and in-person candidate interviews when requested.
  • Prepares job offer letters as needed. Extends job offer to selected candidate when requested.
  • Completes the background checking process and reviews questionable results with the HR Supervisor.
  • Develops and tracks goals for the recruiting and hiring process; meet regularly with HR supervisor to analyze.
  • Assists with implementing all human resource polices, forms, payroll forms, benefits information and employee portal access. Keeps abreast of current company organizational structures, personnel policies/guidelines and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Completes compensation research as requested.

Minimum requirements include:

  • An Associate’s degree in a related business field with two (2) years of job-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
  • Strong attention to detail, proofreading skills and ability to manage time and produce accurate work within deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with professional and field personnel.
  • Ability effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations including ADA, FLSA, EEO, DOL, etc.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check, and drug/alcohol test.
