CertainTeed Production Operator FULL-TIME $17.50/hr, plus $1500 new hire bonus 1415 Pilgrim Rd., Plymouth, WI Plymouth Under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor and/or Line Lead, the Production Operator is accountable for performing required tasks necessary to meet production goals on a production line in a team oriented environment. This is done with an emphasis on the following: 1. Employee Safety 2. Product Quality 3. Production Efficiencies Compensation: Starting at $17.50, plus shift differential of .50 Shift: Monday-Friday 11am-7pm, will train on day shift Essential duties: Following all safety rules and rules as established in employee handbook Following standard operating procedures Setting up line following established equipment settings Filling out maintenance work orders and assists Maintenance Technicians as needed Maintaining quality of product on production line by ensuring product standards are being followed Continually monitor product, to detect and resolve issues utilizing WCM tools Tracking and/or fills out metrics required to accurately close out production work orders Aids in minimizing/elimination of process wastes- Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Waiting (Product or Resources), Overprocessing, Overproduction, and Defects using WCM tools Maintaining good housekeeping as established by Operator Duty Sheets and identifies gaps and areas for improvement Performing Autonomous Maintenance (CILT clean, lube, inspect, and tighten) on production equipment Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition Supporting WCM expansion by participating and adhering to requirements as established by equipment/area sustainment boardsSchedule - Shift start: 11:00AM - Shift length: 8 hours - Days: 2nd: Monday-Friday, 11am-7pmBenefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 1 days - Paid time off - 401kRequirements - Previous work experience in Lean Principles or WCM (World Class Manufacturing) is a plus, but not required - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbsBonus $1500 new hire incentive $1500 for 1st shift - to be divided at 3, 6 and 12 months of employment About CertainTeed CertainTeed, a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, is North America’s leading brand of sustainable exterior and interior building products.
