Position Title: Screen Printing Press Operator

Sunburst Apparel is a small, family-run print shop known for quality, consistency. With M&R automatic presses we produce custom apparel with pride in our craft.

Role Summary:

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on operator to run our M&R screen printing presses. The majority of the work is production printing, with some screen cleaning/recovery and occasional DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfer work. In a small-shop environment, everyone pitches in as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate M&R automatic screen-printing presses

Prepare and maintain screens: registration, ink mixing, etc.

Execute production runs with consistent quality and color

Screen recovery and cleaning (approximately 35% of time)

Assist with DTF transfers (approximately 1% of time, using manual presses)

Perform basic press troubleshooting

Support other shop duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

Experience on M&R presses 5 years minimum

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Reliability and consistent attendance

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing during shifts)

A good attitude that fits our team-focused, family-run shop culture

Schedule:

Full-time position (typical daytime weekday hours)

Overtime possible during busy periods

No weekend shifts required at this time

Pay:

$16–$25 per hour, depending on experience and reliability
