asset! How you will contribute: As an HVAC Project Manager youwill
manage the successful execution of HVAC projects within the Milwaukee
region. Once an HVAC project has been successfully acquired, you will
take it from there. But you won't be alone! Ahern has teams of highly
skilled Project Coordinators that are dedicated to supporting our
Project Managers in all aspects of their job- from preparing initial
bids all the way to project wrap up. At Ahern, Project Managers are
responsible for maintaining labor projections, meeting with management
on a regular basis to discuss project status and due dates,
participating in turnover meetings as required, assisting with any
follow-up information with the customer, maintaining good customer
relationships, and assuming an active role in managing the projects in
conjunction with field management.It's worth mentioning that our PMs
will also receive collaborative support from our Purchasing,
Engineering, and Collections groups, emphasizing our unified team
effort. You will manage and accurately forecast project financials on a
consistent basis. You will be challenged to excel beyond your
expectations, through additional bonus compensation based on your
individual performance as well as the overall company performance and
Milwaukee's specific performance which has paid out over 100% for the
past 3 years consecutively. What you need to qualify: Ahern will make
the most out of your three-plus years of project management with
HVAC-related projects. More experience will be fully utilized. A
post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent field experience
is preferred. You will need knowledge of codes, a basic understanding of
design and a strong understanding of how to put together a disciplined
estimate. Must have excellent communication, customer service, and
organizational skills; the ability to work in a fast-paced,
