Job Description
Position SummaryAs a member of the Zurn - Business Intelligence (BI) team, the Business Intelligence Developer will support various reporting environments, drive process improvement and automation on the team, and enable the business to answer questions about their data. In this position, you will be working with medium to large data sets and interacting with all levels and departments within the Zurn organization.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions in Cognos, Alteryx, and Tableau
- Monitor BI ticket queue and resolve customer requests and incidents
- Partner with business leaders and SMEs to ensure data integrity across reporting efforts
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation on the BI team
- Creating documentation around BI processes and procedures
- Other projects as assigned
Qualifications
Experience and Skill Required:- Bachelor’s degree - concentrations in IT preferred
- Experience with report design, ETL, and writing Microsoft SQL Server queries
- Desire to work with cross functional teams to drive objectives
- Self-motivated learner with strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in team environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Familiarity with Dynamics AX, D365, or other enterprise ERP system
- Experience with Cognos, Tableau, and SSRS reporting / data visualization tools
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Business Intelligence products
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM system
- Python or other scripting experience
