Arch Apothecary is hiring for full time stylist

Arch is looking for motivated, experienced and responsible aestheticians and stylists to join our team in Madison! Arch is a fast paced, high energy environment offering a unique retail experience and a high level of aesthetic and styling services, and is located on Madison's Capitol Square. With a unique concept, Arch does not offer cutting or coloring services, and is a great fit for anyone who specializes in hair styling, makeup, facial waxing, lash lifting, facials & weddings/events! We work with luxury haircare, skincare and cosmetics, including an expansive retail collection of brands such as Westman Atelier, Vintner’s Daughter, Joanna Vargas, Oribe, Chantecaille, Omorovicza and Mason Pearson (to name a few).

We specialize in everyday brow and lash upkeep, tinting and facial services, while also offering makeup application and blowouts to get you ready for a night out, Arch is a one stop shop for all things beauty. At Arch we take pride in our curated service standards and professionalism with clients and shoppers, with attention to customizing each client experience. Each of our stylists and aestheticians are motivated to clientele and build their books by marketing themselves both in and outside of Arch, through our referral program and by inviting existing clients to tell their family and friends.

Our staff is well trained in all of our services and lines, and are expected to maintain client relationships by building their books and exceeding monthly sales goals. Arch exemplifies team mentality by offering hourly pay + any tips received for services, with incentives and sales commission, including monthly perks and staff contests. Each of the brands we carry offer extensive trainings with brand support and representation — some of which take place in store and others on site or via zoom to ensure product knowledge and retention on who and what each product is perfect for. 


QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed to perform esthetics and styling services

Proficiency with skincare and makeup application along with facials, lash lifting, hair styling and/or facial waxing and tinting services.

Ability to work both independently and contribute to the Arch team as a whole by staying proactive.

Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, inviting them back in for future events and services, helping build your books.

Exceptional verbal communication skills, and adept knowledge in skincare ingredients, skin and hair conditions, how to educate vs. push product and understanding client specific concerns/needs.

Experience and enthusiasm in selling innovative, luxury skincare, cosmetics and hair care products while navigating a high end retail environment.

Ability to provide a book of clients that you have cultivated through your industry experience that share a passion for your work.

Expertise in multitasking in a fast paced service environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and client experience.

Weekend availability, including Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.

Ongoing excitement around top client events and sales, sales follow up, weddings, trainings, clienteling, professionalism, staff culture & new launches for products and lines.
