Jewelry Production Assistant

Jewelry Production:

Prep materials, according to samples, to be put into contractor kits.

Maintain jewelry samples in studio. Make sure that there are two kit bags with correct labels and two samples of each item at all times.

Make contractor kits as needed. This includes making sure that there is enough of each element in the kit, that the pieces are put in the right kit bag, that the card has the correct UPC code and stock #, and that each kit contains a sample.

Put away samples and extra materials that are returned with finished kits.

Check returned kits for any problems and report to buyer immediately

Make sure the Sales Rep has complete set of samples for road kit with current pricing and stock #’s.

Card/re-card jewelry as needed.

Assist with picking/ packing of orders and checking product for quality control (correct UPC and quality of product)

Notify buyer when raw materials are running low so that they can be re-ordered (including bags, cards, glue dots etc.)

Check in raw materials and put them away. Count new beads/ strand and record on invoice. Give invoice to buyer.

Keep the production studio area clean and organized.

Must be reliable, organized and good with details.

Salary: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
