Certified Medical Assistant - Ortho Team Clinic (Stoughton Health, Madison, WI)

Stoughton Health has an excellent employment opportunity for a part-time Certified Medical Assistant to work in the Ortho Team Clinic located in Madison, WI . This position works under the direct supervision of the Physician or Physician Assistant. This position prepares patients to see the healthcare provider for exams, takes and relays precise messages, follows the healthcare provider’s needs for scheduling tests, collecting specimens and directing patients to the appropriate resources. The Clinic Assistant reports to the Clinic Manager, who is responsible for administrative supervision, staff development & orientation of the Clinic Assistant to the area’s policies & procedures.

This position requires successful completion of a Medical Assistant Vocational Training Program and current licensure as a CMA., high school graduate or equivalent. Prefer someone with previous Orthopedic experience and/or hospital/clinic experience. Must have current BLS certification, non-violent crisis intervention training, basic computer competency skills, and beginning Microsoft office suite skills.

Part-time, Days, working Tuesday and Thursday; 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and every other Wednesday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 40 hours bi-weekly, no weekends or holidays.
