Dental Assistant

McKinney Dental, a private, family dental office of 60 years on the north side of Madison is seeking a motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic dental assistant to join our team.

We are looking for a positive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented dental assistant to integrate themselves among a cheerful, professional team who is ready to come along side a new team member to help them to become a vital contributor to a long-standing tradition of excellence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist chair-side during all dental procedures for Dr. McKinney

Manage patient care, comfort, and their in-office experience

Take digital x-rays

Take impressions, intra-oral pictures, and scans

Make progress notes and document treatment in patients clinical chart

Use of computer and having knowledge of EagleSoft management software

Room turn over, instrument sterilization, and infection control

Manage lab cases

Maintain inventory and keep treatment rooms stocked and organized

Work with vendors and order suppliers

Basic administrative functions (including scheduling appointments, processing payments, confirming patients)

Assist hygiene when needed

Light housekeeping
