Wisconsin Capitol Tour Guide

This position will perform as a Tour Guide for the State Capitol by conducting public tours, providing instructions, directions, information and referral services to visitors and other public service tasks.

State Capitol Tours hours are:

8:30 AM to 5:15 PM Monday through Friday

8:30 AM to 4:15 PM Saturday

12:00 PM to 4:15 PM on Sunday

Qualifications

Candidates for this position should have experience working with the public. Knowledge of downtown Madison and the state. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This position requires memorization of a large amount of information plus excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
