Job Description:Seeking a full-time seasoned Senior Data Warehouse Developer, based in Madison, WI who will be responsible for maintaining large sets of healthcare data flows in an out of cloud data warehouse platform. Responsibilities include creating and developing ETL jobs as well as implementing processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Creates and develops ETL jobs as well as data quality and cleansing routines; Oversee ETL deployment process from environment to environment
Performs ETL code and design reviews; Establish and enforce standards for code reviews and unit test cases; Conduct performance analysis and optimization of ETL jobs Proven experience in bringing data from various source.
Develops and maintains scalable data pipelines and builds out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
Collaborates with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
Writes unit/integration tests, and documents work.
Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
Works closely with a team of frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts.
Defines company data assets (data models), using data integration workflows tools to populate data models.
Designs data integrations and data quality framework.
Assists the infrastructure team in coordinating and developing process automation/job scheduling and maintain a master schedule of all ETL jobs including dependencies, sources and targets
Assists in one or more components of the overall architecture of the data warehouse system
Coordinates technology leadership assessment and direction to mitigate risk
Ensures Production support turn-over requirements are met
Designs and evaluates open source and vendor tools for data lineage.

Qualifications

6 + years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, and logical/physical model design.
Understanding of ETL development, cleansing strategies, data structures, data quality, OLAP solution and implementation, and report creation
Experience in developing ETL jobs as well as data quality and cleansing routines; Oversee ETL deployment process from environment to environment
Healthcare data experience is highly preferred
Microsoft BI Stack tools (SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
Advanced SQL skills and prior experience in SQL Server- SSIS stored procedures.
Strong trouble shooting skills in understanding SQL Scripts, fixing data issues
Understanding of data warehouse architecture that supports business intelligence tools such as Tableau, SSRS, Power BI
Prior experience in data warehouse support and maintenance.
Prior experience in Cloud Datawarehouse -Snowflake or Azure desirable

Should have experience on data replication/CDC, message-oriented data movement, API design and access
Exposure to Python, NoSQL, JSON, XML, SSL, RESTful APIs, and other formats of data viz parquet, ORC, AVRO is a plus
Should take initiative and be motivated to learn on their own
Interact and lead client conversation, document the finding, root cause analysis and estimate new statement of work
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required
