Job DescriptionProvides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.ResponsibilitiesIn their role, Executive Directors are responsible for:Developing strong C-suite AND Controller/FP&A relationships with clients and prospects, becoming their trusted advisor as it relates to Performance Management processes within the Office of Finance. This includes leading and executing compelling executive-level demos.

Executive Director’s should aspire to be quoted by a client as being key to their selection of Oracle EPM and critical to their ongoing relationship throughout the lifetime of their project.

Be accountable to customer/project success.

Helping to develop, document and share client references who rave about Oracle Cloud EPM and the value our solutions provide to our customers.

The ED’s will be fluent in Oracle’s unique differentiators in the marketplace and will be masterful in defining and leveraging competitive strategies within sales campaigns.

The goal for each ED is to add at least four client references per year.

Collaborating with their Sales counterparts win more net new logos and influencing our on-premise customers to move to our cloud.

ED’s should be solely focused on our OP2C, Net New deals and strategic expansions. Goals include improving our win rate on New deals to 20%+ and increasing our competitive win rate by 25%

Mentoring SEs and BAs to drive deeper and more compelling functional messaging within the finance line of business

The goal of each ED is to formally mentor and coach three SEs or BAs throughout the fiscal year.

Additionally, ED’s will participate as an additional coach to the SE, BA, and Sales team on demonstration dry runs to ensure consistent and high value messaging.

Training or enablement for selling to the Office of the CFO. This content would be to delivered to OD Sales, OD Pre-Sales and Field Sales and Pre-Sales . Lead 4 training sessions (once per quarter)

Driving innovation and Best Practice sales plays enabled by Oracle EPM

Telling the Oracle EPM Story in a compelling/differentiated way

Differentiated Demo Execution

Reusable Assets with innovation

Working with Advisory Firms, Evaluation Firms to help shape the future experience of evaluations of software

Working with OCS/Partners to influence delivery

Working with Product Development (regular cadence)

Mission Days Expansion: Enablement of SE’s and Sales

Required Experience:Practical experience in the office of the CFO (FP&A, Accounting)Minimum 10-15 years’ experience as a finance, financial systems executive (FP&A, Consolidations, Reporting/Analytics, Controller/CAO/CFO)Must have experience with Oracle or competitive EPM/CPM tools and technology

Must have executive presence. Ability to present confidently and passionately to executives (C-suite)

Self-motivated, curious and a highly focused on results and outcomes

Experience evaluating, recommending, deploying Performance Management Systems

Industry knowledge and experience a plus

Experience in Sales or Solution Engineering a plus
