Draftsman

We are a Sun Prairie based land surveying firm seeking a qualified individual to join our staff. Our candidate needs to be organized and self-directed with a strong work ethic, excellent ability to multi-task, and a strong desire to excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and modify site, boundary, and parcel maps.

Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.

Prepare design drawings.

Assure document standards are met.

Strong aptitude in math.

Interpret and read house plans.

Confer with clients to resolve issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Basic hand drafting skills.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Experience using MS Outlook.

Solid knowledge of land surveying.

Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to effectively meet deadlines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

1-2 years experience in land surveying or related field (we are willing to train the right candidate).

This is a full time position with benefits. Wages based on experience.
