Teacher

Wisconsin, Madison, 53701 Madison USA

Full-time

Vacancy expired!

Learning and Beyond Preschool in McFarland is looking for full-time Lead and Float Teachers.

If you are not serious about working with children, stop reading this posting and move on to another job please. Do not apply if you are not going to show up for the interview or show up for the children. They depend on you and need someone responsible.

I will make it very clear that this is NOT an easy job, this is a hard job, but if you put the effort in it can become easier and will be Beyond Rewarding! We can help teach you that if you are willing to learn.

We are looking for people who want to interact with children, keep them safe, teach them and help them foster a positive self-image. We are looking for people who have education in early childhood and the development of children and want to utilize this knowledge. We are also looking for people who don’t have education in early childhood or children’s development but want to learn about this and use it to teach our next generation.

We are looking for people who are driven, who can multi-task, who can move their asses (and yes I said asses, but please do not say that around the children) and who generally love children.

This is not a babysitting job. Teaching children is a BIG responsibility! It requires a great work ethic where you show up for your job because the children love you as their teacher and need consistency in their lives and count on you to be there, to teach them, to keep them safe and love them.

Benefits

Benefits for full-time staff includes vacations, holidays, paid time off, 401K plan, continuing education costs, CPR/First Aid training, Registry application fee, direct deposit and paid planning time each week. We are open from 6:30am until 6:00pm so no weekend or night hours.

Learning and Beyond Preschool provides continuing education and works with the TEACH program to help individuals obtain college credits towards a credential, associate or bachelors degree in childhood education while working.

Pay

Starting pay depends on education and experience and is between $10 and $20 an hour. Moving up the pay scale after that is up to you on how hard you work at being a team player, completing continuing education, fulfilling other requirements and becoming the greatest teacher you can be.

If you are a dedicated person who want to help children learn and grow and you want to learn and grow as a human being and a teacher please send your resume to amy@learningandbeyondpreschool.com or call (608)838-1466 and ask for Amy.
