In this role, you’ll be exposed to Credit Services, Asset Recovery, Collections, Loan Servicing and Member Education. If so, then the Credit Services Intern position may be a great fit for you!

Altra’s Credit Services Department is seeking a Credit Services Intern to provide support and gain exposure to all Credit Services areas. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Float between Asset Recovery, Collections, Loan Servicing and Member Education areas.

Complete task related to titling, including lien perfection tasks and lien release tasks.

Complete back-office duties, including scanning, filing, mailing, etc.

Perform basic file maintenance to loans, due date changes and misapplied transactions.

Provide loan documentation to members as requested, including coupon book requests.

Upload documents to Altra’s retention system. The Credit Services Intern position is a part-time temporary position; 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday with hours and days based on the student’s schedule of availability. The internship will run for twelve (12) months, depending on the workload needs and hours of availability of the student. There is potential to renew the internship for an additional year with mutual consent. This internship will take place at Altra’s Operations Center in Onalaska, WI.

To be considered for the Loan Servicing Intern position, you are required to have a High School diploma, GED/HSED and must be a current student pursuing an advanced degree for consideration into the internship program. Finance, Accounting, or Business Management majors preferred. Altra would prefer you have a minimum one (1) year of office, financial institution, or customer service experience.

Experience

Required
