Sr. Financial Analyst

Description If you're a Senior Financial Analyst available for short-term contract / temporary work, this could be the job for you! To succeed in this Senior Financial Analyst consultant role, you will need to be comfortable as our client's primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. To succeed in this Senior Financial Analyst consultant role, you will need to be comfortable performing analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and providing decision-making support for future company investments. Cudahy, Wisconsin will be the home base of this Senior Financial Analyst.Major responsibilitiesWork closely with the Functional leads to provide management reporting, accounting and compliance guidance plus ensure alignment of operational initiatives

Survey financial results, condense key trends, appraise current and future business risks, and relay critical updates to senior leadership in the course of normal preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting

Assist in other ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests

Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teams

Execute improved management reporting by working with Operations and Accounting to more discreetly and accurately track financial results

Identify and execute financial analysis to optimize business performance

Power existing management reporting by evaluating financial results, distilling and synthesizing issues, and articulating key updates to senior-level staff

Build advantageous relationships with integral business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership Requirements - Efficient with process reengineering and optimization

Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A background in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended

Relevant experience in operations finance required

CPA/MBA preferred

Highly skilled with Microsoft PowerPoint

Able to think critically and operate effectively with management

Pricing Models experience

Previous experience working with SAP

Good understanding of Microsoft Excel

Background working with Tableau

Competitive Pricing experience

Practical knowledge of CRM

Tableau experience highly preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of Pricing Strategy

Pricing analysis experience

Pricing experience required

Adeptness in pricing strategies

Experience with Pricing Recommendations

General familiarity with Pricing Structure

Earlier work involving Microsoft Excel

A BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or related field necessary

Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
