RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's valued client is looking to bring on a BI Engineer to their growing team in Brookfield, WI. Multiple positions are possibly available. In this role you will create and build robust data models to support end user's analysis and decision making across multiple business verticals.

Responsibilities: BI Engineer will leverage the Azure Intelligence Platform to build robust, reusable data models Effectively communicate and interact with business and technical personnel in solving complex data related business and technical problems in collaboration with other members of the Data & Analytics team Monitor business intelligence eco-system and identify opportunities to make enhancements; Provide ongoing support for all current BI projects and provide status updates to management as needed Ensure BI processes run and complete on a timely basis to ensure business continuity As a BI Engineer, you will adhere to timelines and excel in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Recognize and adopt best practices in analytics and analysis: data integrity, design, testing, analysis, validation, and documentation Partnering with analysts, business users, and IT solutions delivery team to help mature the data culture through development of analytics and data visualizations

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Minimum 3 years of industry experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or related field with an emphasis on data modeling Experience with Power BI Should have experience with Azure Data Stack - Azure data factory, dimensional modeling Experience in Azure Analysis Services, Advanced Power BI Data Modeling, & Synapse Skills in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC) using DevOps or a similar deployment application Ability to ensure data accuracy and data integrity by proactively identifying problems Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python/R, Looker, etc.) with experience in designing and delivering cross functional custom analytical solutions Preferred: Cloud Experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
