Our client in Wisconsin is seeking a remote contract to hire Information Security Risk Analyst.

The Risk Analyst is responsible for the implementation, execution, and maintenance of technology solutions to analyze and quantify risk and drive They will make informed business decisions. Provide thought leadership to small-mid-sized projects and solves a range of problems applying standard operating procedures.They will continually support and improve the controls and security posture within the IT environment.

responsibilities:

- Demonstrate deep expertise within assigned assets, information domains, technologies, and platforms

- Provide thought leadership to small to medium sized project efforts

- Solve a range of problems using existing processes and solutions

- Understand and apply standard operating procedures and standards to implement, maintain, and provide mitigation solutions for risk within assigned assets, technologies, or platforms

- Successfully deliver the right results on initiatives in a timely and effective manner

- Communicate within IT and with assigned business areas to drive successful execution and maintenance of solutions

- Understand and apply Information Security policies, standards, and processes, to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability to information and information systems

- Support assigned security technologies in accordance with security policies, standards, and SOP's

- Provide assistance with other deployed security technologies and platforms and support team members

- Define and decompose risk scenarios from a problem

- Identify and apply data gathering concepts for the scenarios

- Understand and perform risk analyses to aid in the decision making process

- Produce and effectively communicate risk in quantitative terminology

- Support regulatory examinations and internal audits as needed

- Provide on-call support of assigned Information Security deployed technologies

- Experience with and ability to sufficiently utilize ServiceNow and similar platforms

- Ability to understand potential cyber threats and respond appropriately across all IT services, technologies, and processes

- Ability to identify, communicate, and provide mitigation recommendations for various cyber actors tactics, techniques, and procedures
