Apply various chemicals to parts during build the process.
Primary Responsibilities:Understand and utilize work orders and non-conformance reports (NCRs), and verbal instructions to properly and efficiently assemble as required
Setup machine and build parts on clean metals
Read templates and schematics to determine material layouts, organize sequences of operation, and ensure that work is performed according to appropriate specifications.
Meet all production and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and report all discrepancies to management.
Represent Collins Aerospace in a professional and businesslike manner at all times.
Job may require employee to be around or use various chemicals to build deicers per manufacturer instructions. .
Use prescribed personal protective (safety) equipment, including but not limited to: respiratory protection, gloves, eye wear, and/or other devices.
Work extended or extra shifts, if customer requirements cannot otherwise be reasonably satisfied.
Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent
An understanding of data collection devices and their proper usage.
An understanding of computers and the ability to enter and retrieve data from PCs as required.
Ability to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds by oneself or more with a team lift
Ability to understand and follow all safety precautions communicated through training and other means.
Ability to perform requested work repeatedly on a daily, weekly, monthly, or extended basis.
