SECURITY/PART TIME

Position Summary: Provide Security functions at Pilgrims Pride Moorefield, Prepared Foods Plant, which includes the following locations; Hatchery, Garage, Protein Conversion, Feed Mill, Waste Water, Plant and Live Production Office. Additional functions are outlined in the Essential Duties and Responsibilities Section of this Position Description. Duties & Responsibilities: Trabajos y responsabilidades: 1) Must have successfully completed the probationary/trial period. 2) Must have excellent attendance habits. Must have no other disciplinary write-ups within the past 90 days.

Never been convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude.

Previous experience as a law enforcement or security officer preferred.

Must maintain a current certification for first aid and CPR.

Must have basic computer skills.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Must be able to ascend and descend stairs.

Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned.

Must be able to work outdoors in cold or hot weather.

Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Must be willing and able to work overtime as required.

Greet and sign visitors and provide them with visitor’s badge .

Maintain truck log for time in and out.

Enforce the plant speed limit for all vehicle traffic.

Enforce parking for designated parking spaces.

Maintain multiple line telephone system as required.

Monitor alarm systems and respond accordingly.

Write and file required reports.

Must have valid West Virginia Operator’s License .

Each day, temperature screens are performed for each employee and visitor before entering the facility.
