Golf Course Grounds Staff

We are hiring Golf Course Maintenance employees at Yakima Country Club located in Terrace Heights. The positions available are Seasonal-Full Time, from April to the end of November.

Yakima Country Club is an 18-hole, high end, private golf facility owned by the Club Members. Yakima Country Club was opened for play in 1916 and has a long tradition of being one of the best private golf facilities in Central Washington.

Preferred candidates are quality-minded and willing to contribute his or her skills to a team focused on transforming the golf course into one of the best in the state.

Duties

Precise mowing of greens, tees, collars, fairways and rough

Hand watering of dry spots on golf course greens, fairways, tees, collars, and rough.

Daily hand watering of greens to insure playability throughout the day.

Operate equipment, power tools and various hand tools

Perform detailed maintenance of various forms of golf course landscapes

o Maintain sand bunkers

o Push mow

o String trim

o Roll Greens

Assist with many various projects to improve golf course conditions
