Valbridge Property Advisors | Inland Pacific Northwest is part of a nationwide commercial property valuation firm with 78 offices. Valbridge | Inland Pacific Northwest continues to be one of the largest appraisal organizations in the Inland Northwest, with offices in Spokane Valley, Kennewick, and Puget Sound, WA; and Coeur d'Alene, ID. As a leader in the field of commercial real estate appraisal, Valbridge | Inland Pacific Northwest presents challenging opportunities for leading-edge professionals.

Valbridge | Inland Pacific Northwest has an immediate opening for an Appraiser Assistant in our Spokane Valley office. This position includes a combination of administrative and appraisal support duties. This is a challenging and rewarding position within the commercial appraisal industry.

Appraiser Assistants gather facts by looking at maps, property records, and legal documents as well as by interviewing property owners, buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, brokers, government officials, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals. In the course of a typical assignment, the Assistant will gather facts about the "subject property" to determine its physical and legal characteristics, organize this data and summarize it using specialized software based on Word and Excel. The summary will be included in an appraisal report and appraisers will rely on this work to formulate their value opinions. The assistant may inspect properties with an appraiser.

Successful Appraiser Assistants are curious, organized, self-starters who enjoy solving problems. Accuracy, consistency, and good communication skills are requirements. While a background or study in real estate is desirable, it is not a requirement. Applicants must be detail oriented, analytical, and extremely organized. The position requires excellent communication skills, above-average math and writing skills, a professional demeanor, good telephone etiquette, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong computer skills are a must.

If you are interested in applying, please send your resume and cover letter explaining your interest in the commercial real estate appraisal field. Please send to the attention of our Executive Administrative Manager, Keri Copley.
