We’re looking for a full-time Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team at Skils’kin.

Skils’kin is a dynamic organization and a leader at providing employment opportunities and community services for adults with disabilities. As part of our Finance team, you would assist in keeping things running smoothly for our operations in three states.

In this position, you will perform a variety of accounting tasks, along with critical support to our Payroll Specialist. The work schedule will be a mix of office time and remote work. Process accounts payable invoices timely and accurately for multiple departments in several states.

Process weekly check runs.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues.

Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and corporate credit cards.

Support and serve as backup to the payroll administrator.

Review employee time records for accuracy on a weekly basis.

Review and make corrections as needed to the trial payroll.Experience and education:

High school diploma or GED is required.

Two years Accounts Payable or Payroll experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous experience/strong working knowledge of personal computers and related software, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.

Strong time-management skills; well organized and dependable.

Professional interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.Apply on our Website! Other RequirementsOther Requirements

This is a full-time hourly/non-exempt position with pay issued every two weeks. Work hours are typical business hours Monday-Friday.
