Animal Care Team Member Wanted - Full Time

The Animal Protection Society-Friday Harbor seeks a person who has professional animal care experience to fill a full time position. This person will be responsible for daily cleaning, observations and charting, implementing enrichment activities, working with medical staff, assisting with animal adoption process, transporting animals, providing customer service and more.

A successful candidate will have previous animal care experience, specifically with dogs and/or cats; have passionate interest in animals and their well-being; possess good written and oral communication, customer service, time management, and computer skills and work well within a team environment.

The position requires working 32 - 40 hours a week including weekends and some holidays. This position offers a full benefit package including health care with dental and vision, paid vacations and holidays (after a 3 month probationary period). Pay starts at $15/hr. with opportunities for regular raises depending on experience and job performance.
