Service Writer - Material Handling

Farmers Equipment Company is a full-line dealership of Komatsu, Noblelift, Hangcha, and Genie material handling equipment with locations in both Lynden and Burlington. We currently have an opening for a Service Writer at our Burlington location to provide service and sales for our Material Handling Division. Primary responsibilities include:

Coordinating activities and schedule of Forklift Technician Team and monitoring work flow to meet customer expectations

Assisting Forklift Sales Team in accomplishing sales and service goals

Providing exceptional customer service, both by phone and at service counter

Scheduling and monitoring status of repairs and preventive maintenance

Supporting Service Department leadership team in accomplishing goals to ensure efficient operations

Proactively maintain and grow the Material Handling Service Division

The ideal candidate will have a minimum four years proven technical and leadership skills in a material handling or similar environment. Requirements include: outstanding customer service skills with both internal and external customers, sales experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to effectively multi-task, proficiency utilizing MS Office products, and strong detail orientation.
