Truck Mechanic

Nielsen Brothers, Inc., a family owned and operated logging, road construction and rock crushing company in Skagit/Whatcom County, Washington State, is looking to hire a diesel truck mechanic. Heavy equipment experience is a plus! We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years of experience and a passion for quality work. Applicants must have working knowledge with trucks as well as experience with diesel engines, equipment hydraulics and electrical systems.

Job duties will include:

· Perform preventative and routine maintenance

· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical defects

· Operate equipment as needed

· Perform job duties in accordance to safety rules and regulations.

Other Qualifications:

· Must have valid driver’s license

· Be available to work Monday- Friday, (occasional Saturdays when needed)

Wages start at $30-40 (based on experience). Full-time, year round work, with overtime after 40 hours. We offer competitive, performance based wages, and full medical, dental & life insurance benefits after 60 days. Our 401k program is offered after 6 months.
