FIELD SURVEY TRAINEE

ORCA Land Surveying in Everett, WA is seeking to hire a full-time Field Technician Trainee.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. WE TRAIN. YOU JUST NEED A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD, AND

A DESIRE TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW, IN A FIELD THAT IS EXCITING AND CHALLENGING, WITH ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT.

General Requirements: ( (But not necessary)

Requirements include a knowledge and understanding of field procedures for boundaries, topographic surveys and construction staking using GPS, robotic or total stations.

Knowledge of the concepts, principles, theories, and methods used in the measurement or determination of land boundaries, distances, elevations, areas and angles.

Ability to learn and operate Robotic Total Stations, GPS and data collectors.

Additional Requirements:

Must have motivation to learn and further survey knowledge.

The work of this position requires occasional travel.

Required experience:

Land Surveying: 0-2 years

Required license or certification:

Washington State Driver's License with Clean Record

Compensation: Hourly compensation DOE.
