Experienced Dog Handler $1000 Hiring Bonus

Compensation: $22.00 per hour plus bonuses

Come join the great team at our award winning dog facility! We are looking to add two people to our team. We have shifts starting at 6am and other shifts in the evening ending at 7pm. Our campus is open everyday of the year, so weekend and holiday availability is a must. If you enjoy a fast paced environment, love dogs and the outdoors and have multiple-dog handling experience, are a skilled driver and have excellent customer service skills, this is a great job for you. Dog handling requires the ability to supervise and ensure the safety of the group of dogs. An excellent understanding of dog body language and behavior is a must. This position requires an individual to be compassionate and patient. You must have the ability to pay attention to detail, clean, multitask and be skilled with time management. Cleaning up after the dogs is required of all staff. This job requires the ability to monitor the dogs and their behaviors to ensure their safety and well being, guiding the dogs on the hike, while picking up after them. Each handler posts numerous photos of the dogs day on social media using a company provided phone. This position does include poop scooping, cleaning shuttles, and kennels

Job duties include:

Rotating dogs

Monitoring and interacting with play groups

Walking dogs

Feeding

Cleaning safety crates / Grooming room

General property cleaning

Requirements to apply:

This position requires the following minimum:

Ability to lift up to 60lbs, hike, clean kennels, shuttles and perform various physical farm duties as well as poop scoop up after the dogs.

Ability to pass a background check and meet the driving requirements and pass the commercial insurance standards.

Excellent customer service skills, team player, and willingness to learn about dog behavior and develop handling skills

Experience working with dogs, vet tech.

Ability to participate in social media posting

Commitment to work holidays and some weekends.

Hiring bonus paid after 90 days of employment.
