Crew Lead

Finnmark Property Services is looking to hire an experienced Crew Lead to execute efficient organization, planning, and completion of quality exterior building maintenance cleaning and repair services performed in a team environment.

Finnmark provides a wide range of maintenance and remodel construction services to the multi-family and HOA industries throughout Oregon and Washington. Your job as a Crew Lead will be to perform a variety of cleaning, repair, and installation services in a safe, thorough, and efficient manner. This will include working outdoors the majority of the time, using PPE at all times, and being comfortable working on rooftops. Crew Leads are responsible for setting up job sites; planning the efficient operation of jobs; assessing, monitoring, and communicating safety conditions and requirements; professionally communicating with customers, fellow employees, and the office; completing thorough daily job notes; and training employees, including role modeling and coaching others to be productive participants in company culture.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

While we’d love you to have experience in any of the services we perform, it is not a requirement. What is required:

-Proven experience in leading a crew

-Excellent communication and problem solving skills

-Strong time management skills with attention to detail

-Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate

-Current First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to acquire within 2 weeks of hire)

-OSHA-10 (or ability to acquire within 2 weeks of hire)

-Willing to drive to different job locations throughout the South Seattle to Olympia and the Peninsula to Port Townsend

-Capable of moving and climbing ladders in a safe manner

-Comfortable working on 2-4 story roofs with safety gear

-Must maintain excellent driving record to be insurable by Company insurance

-First 2 weeks of initial training are paid an hourly rate of $22/hour, followed by an increase with piece-rate work

-18+ years old
