Distinctive Audio & Video is searching for a Journeyman/Journeywoman Technician and 1 Trainee.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

Demonstrate job site leadership, mentor Apprentice (Tech I) on site and verify all quality of work

Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints

Configuration and programming of audio, video, lighting, surveillance, automated, and networked systems.

You must have a general understanding of, or experience with, one or more of these areas of expertise:

Structured cabling, grounding, equipment rack fabrications, termination, and calibration of audio video equipment

Control 4 integration experience

Typical projects include theaters, distributed audio, distributed video, lighting control, shading and networking systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Washington State (06) Limited Energy (Low Voltage) Journeyman/Journeywoman License

High School Degree or equivalent education and/or experience

2+ years A/V integration experience

Valid WA Driver’s License and auto insurance; clean driving record

Strong reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills in English is required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

You will be required to stand, walk, crouch, climb and sit, but may be required to stand for extended periods of time.

Mobility required during the entire shift

Dexterity of hands and fingers to carry items, operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools and to handle other equipment

Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy equipment (up to 75 pounds)

Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to customers and other employees
